La Roche-Posay Cleansing Micellar Foaming Water*

Two of my favorite things in the world are French Skincare and micellar products. So it’s no surprise that I had to take the opportunity to try the new La Roche-Posay Cleansing Micellar Foaming Water. This cleanser is part of their physiological line which also include La Roche-Posay Micellar Water and Make-Up Remover Micellar Water Gel. The micellar line just recently launched in Canada and the products are available in pharmacies and everywhere that sold La Roche-Posay products.

If you are not familiar with micellar water, it’s a skincare product that can be used to remove your makeup and cleanse the skin. There’s a love for this kind of product in the beauty community because it’s gentle for the skin and don’t need to be rinsed.

First off, what attracted me when I first tried this was how cleansed my face was without even my using my exfoliating pad. I felt that my skin was deep cleansed, there’s was no trace of makeup on my towel. Also, after the use of this cleanser, my skin wasn’t feeling overly dry at all. Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser doesn’t gives the same effect. This is explained by the fact that this cleanser is formulated without soap, so your skin keep a balanced PH.

Habitually, when I woke up in the mornings my skin is very oily. Since I have been using La Roche-Posay Cleansing Micellar Foaming Water it’s not the case anymore. I wake up to the same as I went to sleep.  I adore the smell of this cleanser, it’s so fresh and springy.

How to use: Wet you face, take one pump of product that comes up in a foam and massage it all over your face for about 30 seconds and rinse everything. Follow with your usual moisturizer.

If you are looking for a gentle cleanser, this is the product for you as it’s good for sensitive skin, all skin types, alcohol, parabens and colorants free.
