As a beauty blogger, I think I’m relatively lucky because I rarely try a product and reallllly hate it even being someone that is harsh with critics. I can always stretch things.

I had high hopes for BH Cosmetics Contour & Blush 2 palette (which is the darker version) but couldn’t like it. I hardly have hated a product so much before. This is not my first rodeo with BH Cosmetics, a few years ago, I bought two of their eyeshadows palettes and was disappointed on how much they weren’t pigmented not really great quality. I taught things would have change almost 4-5 years later, but I was completely wrong.

I was surfing online and came across their website and saw they were having a 70% sale and got two things, the contour palette and something else that I will review very soon also. So the palette come with 6 shades, two to contour and the rest to highlight and  transition. I said to myself why not try them again, I have nothing to lose.

So I’m dark skinned and the colors payoff is terrible for my skin tone and it will be worst for people darker, they all look super ashy and grey on me and it’s impossible to contour with the colors without me looking like a ghost. The words are harsh but it’s true. I can’t even use the colors as a face powders. It’s simply terrible. The only color, I can use is the white as a setting powder for my under eyes. Aside colors not being adequate for darker skinned tones, the formula of these aren’t the best, they are very dry and you can’t really use them wet. It’s not even a good ideas to use them as a powder to set my contour, it just wash it away. I was thinking that maybe, once on my face the colors would have warm up and set better. Not even. The packaging, is not the best, not very solid and I wouldn't suggest letting it fell on the floor and it had this weird smell.

I think it’s time to go and invest in an Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit, which is more expensive but so much better. I’m just happy that I only spent 9.95$ on this. I don’t want it to go to waste and will probably give it away to one of my friend that is lighter than me, maybe it will look better. I will keep posted on that.
