Foundation Series | Make Up For Ever Invisible Cover Foundation

It’s been quite some time since my last #FoundationSeries post.  So, after using MAC and Clinique foundations and them oxidizing on my like crazy, I decided to go and try Make Up For Ever Invisible Cover Foundation that has been on my wish list for years. I was going to buy the NARS All Day Luminous Foundation but it out of stock in my shade look up for a review as soon I get one.

I got match to the shade N178 via the Sephora Color IQ and this was a match perfect. This foundation is being described as ‘’An oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life.’’   When I first tried this foundation, I instantly love how it felt on the skin. It is so weightless and it’s due to the fact that the main ingredient is water. You don’t need to apply a lot to get a full coverage. As primers I use Bioderma Pore Refiner and Laura Mercier Foundation Primer or Hourglass Veil Primer. When I paired it with the Hourglass primer, I don’t even need powder except for my nose.

This foundation looks so natural, it doesn’t set into the fine lines. I use the MUFE Duo Mat powder and my makeup stay on place all day long.  I find this weird, when I pour the product on the top of my hands, the shade is kind of reddish on me and I have to mix it up with a lighter shade, but when I put some directly on my flat brush, the color is perfect.

The only down point is the price, 50$ is quite a lot but for something that is full coverage, lightweight, doesn’t make me oily and last all day. This is totally worth it in my opinion. And there’s 25 shades available so something for everybody. For the price, you also get a pump, which is weird why all those high end brands don’t include pumps with theirs foundation.

Edit: I finally learned how to use a makeup sponge and the results with this foundation are even better. My skin was flawless, the product did absorb like I was wearing nothing and the finish was more matte.
