Avène D-Pigment Hot or Not?

Hello girlies,

How are you all doing?

I have heard a lot about Eau Thermal Avène, the French pharmacy brand but never tried anything until during one of my trip to Shoppers Drug Mart after paying a few stuffs I saw a clearance section and for 15$ you had a kit with this D-Pigment Légère and a exfoliator and mask from Avène. Because i'm a sucker for all thing beauty I of course got the kit.

Now that I don't get breakouts as much as before. My main skin priority is taking care of my scars and dark spots. I was using the Kate Sommerville D-Scar serum for a few months didn't see any results and they increase their price of 15$. I refuse to pay 65$ for something that's not working for me. So I was happy to find something else. I'm using this product since September and girls the results are apparent. I only use it at night after cleansing my face and follow with my night cream.

The D-Pigment contains Melanyde 0.5 % and Retinaldehyde 0.5% which are meant to help lighting the hyper-pigmentation on your face. It also contains some Eau Thermal d'Avène which is great is you have sensitive skin and dry to combo skin. I really like the texture of this product because it's light and penetrate instantly in your skin and leave a matte finish. After five months you could see that my face was more even and brighter.  Now, for my makeup, I only have to put a little bit of foundation and concealer and everything is perfect. No need of as much makeup as before.

This product works great but you should not expect a miracle, to see any results, I have use this product for all nights for a whole five months. The lighter spots did erase but not the darker ones. Some people did say that this product cause them breakouts and didn't do anything for them. Something may works for me but not for you.

You can use this product all over your face, on the affect area and your hands. If you have access to this brand and suffer of hyper-pigmentation and dark spot, I will suggest to go and try. You won't regret it.
