Hello girlies,

It's been quit a while but I have been busy with school and starting a new job. With the Christmas Holiday coming up I have more time on my hand. A few weeks ago, I pay my dear friend Sephora 3 visits in week so I have a few goodies to show you. The first thing I purchase was this 12$ kit from Too Faced which include their upper raved Better Than Sex Mascara and Shadow Insurance Primer perfect as a stuffing stuffer.

Bioderma Sébium Pore Refiner

Hello girlies,

Has you may remember, I got a bunch of french skincare products while I was in France over the summer. This time will be about Bioderma Sébium Pore Refiner. To be honest I only got it because it was Bioderma. I wasn't expecting very much.

The Bioderma Sébium Pore Refiner is primarily for combination and oily skin types. This is a corrective serum that helps improve the appearance of your skin with the pores and reduce the excess of sébium. You can use it once or twice a day before your skincare cream or alone. I prefer to use it with my cream because otherwise, it makes my skin feel to tight and dry. If you have oily skin you have to use all over your skin and combination on your T-Zone (nose, forehead, chin).

Hello Beauties,

Welcome back to a brand new blog post. But first thing, what do you guys think of my new blog design? I simply love it, it's so clean. In today post, I wanted to share with my at the moment beauty.  I moved house two months and still haven't had the time to find everything I have in mind. But still happy about what it looks like right now. My dressing table is the MALM from Ikea. Which I adore but i'm a little annoy by it cause its doesn't completely open in full.

Hello girlies,
It's been quit a while since my last blog but I've been a lot busy and my computer broke so I didn't have anything to write on until I find a way to work with my Ipad until I get a new one. Hello gorgeous,

Welcome back on the blog for a new post. My quest for gel nail polish and kit continue with the Revlon Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat. These nail polishes are out since a couple of months now but just had the time to try them. It's not a proper kit, the gel is only  a top coat. Not like L'Oréal where you get a base and top coat, you have to buy the color nail lacquer individually.

Favorite Nail Polishes for Fall

Hello ladies,
It's been a while since my last post but with all the moving, school and work stuff, I barely had the time to take pictures and seat down to write my post. I've almost finish with the moving things so I'm almost back. So in this week blog post, I wanted to show you guys my favorite nail polish colors for fall and winter now that we are officially in autumn time. You that I love my bright pink nail polish but during that time of year I love to go for darker shades and nude. These are my all time favorite. And you guys must think that I have an obsession for Revlon nail polishes. Yes indeed,  they are so quick to dry and don't make messes and are so shiny.

Kabuki Brushes Review

Hello gorgeous,

A few weeks back, I was strolling down my Instagram page and came across someone I follow showing the things she got from Buy in Coins and how good they were. So I went just to explore the site and also purchase a few things. I got two set of brushes including these and a few box of eyelashes for 1.50$. I will keep you posted about them. What made me bought these kabuki where because I wanted some from Sigma and didn't know if I was going to love them. Before trying something expenive, I always love to try a cheaper version.

Hello girlies,

A fews months back, I bought a couple of things from Sleek Makeup. Some were repurchase and the rest new stuff. I reviewed the Luminaire Highlighting Concealer if you missed it. I wanted to try some of theirs eyeshadows palettes for quit some time and finally did. I got the I-Divine Au Naturel palette which is full of neutral colors like I love. The palette come in 12 shades: 8 mattes and 4 shimmery. After hearing so much thing about these Sleek palette, I was expecting a lot and was kind of disapointed. On the websites, this palette looked so gorgeous but in real life not so much.

Milani Corallina & Bella Rosa Baked Blushes

Hello gorgeous,

I wanted to try some Milani products since the longest time now, but couldn't find anywhere in my city. Then I was about to order some of their website after learning that they were shipping to Canada when one of my friend indicated me a store where I could purchased some of their products. I picked up two baked blushes in Corallina and Bella Rosa.

I really do love them, the texture is really not drying at all. Stay on the skin pretty much all day long without slidding. I love Bella Rosa better because of the color. Usually, I prefer red and purple tones but lately I have been enjoying pink colors because it just give you a splash of color and make you glow. Even if they are very pigmented, when you blend them out, the blushes kind of fade on your face. So you have to put a bit more.

As for Corallina, on my face, it better as a highlight more than a blush because the glitters do  wash me out too much. With these two products, don't go swipe your brush a couple of times before putting it in your face because you will look like a clown. A little goes a long way. I will definitely picked up more shades like Bella Rosa and try Luminoso that people say is better than Corallina.

Color Tatto Metal 55 Inked in Pink / Color Tatto 35 Tough as Taupe / Color Tatto Metal 70 Barely Branded

On my journey to try more drugstore makeup and after reading a post about the Maybelline Color Leather Tatoo cream shadows,  I wanted to try them. So at the store, I went on the on display and got three. But when I was editing my pictures, I notice that I didn't purchase the right ones, I got the regular tatoos and the metal ones. But it wasn't the end of the world because I still wanted to try them but the Leather ones were more matte and no shimmers compare to the regular ones.

But being the sucker that i'm for  makeup, I went back and got the Leahter tattoo ones. I don't even regret it, people were so right, these color tattoos are really good. They keep reminde me of the Long Wear Eyeshadow base from Lancôme which comes in only one shade. But the base from Lancôme is not as creamy as the Color Tattoo from Maybelline. The packagings are also similar.

What I like about these shadows is the fact that they are very easy to use. You can wear them alone or as a base. Both ways works wonder. They are very pigmented. If I had too choose between the Leather Tattoo , Original Color Tattoo or Metal Tattoo, I will choose the Leather Tattoo because I prefer the colors. They are matte and not shimery. All these products have the same formula and last all day without a problem. I find them less greasy when I use a primer beforehand. Using them as a base, will make your eye looks pop more and last day without creasing.

Color Tattoo Leather 90 Vintage Plum / Color Tattoo 80 Creamy Beige
My  favorite color of the bunch is Creamy Beige because it brighten my eyes and make me look so awake. Which I really need on the mornings. If you are looking for a base that will make your eyeshadows pop. I strongly suggest these color tatoos. They are easy to work with and won't even a makeup brush. Your fingers will do the job. They didn't cake on my eyelids so I was happy about this. Generally, this kind of product dries out very fast. I will see in a couple of weeks if they did. My Lancôme did and that a bummer.

LA Girl PRO Concealer

Hello beauties,

I don't for you but i'm bit of a concealer hoarder. I just have to try new ones. After hearing tone of things about the LA Girl PRO concealers from various place, I decide to go and order them from BeautyJoint.

I was appealed to try them because first of the price 2.50$ and they are even less expensive in the USA (1.99$) and second the choice of colors, 18 to be honest. That is pretty good for a drugstore concealer. I actually got three shades : Expresso, Chesnut and Dark Cocao. I was lucky enough to have pick a color that is my skin color in Expresso. I did use both Chestnut to highlight under my eyes and contour with Dark Cocoa because they are too light and dark for my skin color.

But even these two things couldn't make me love these concealers. I find them if I may say too greasy. I first taught they were heavy but no.  Even if I put some powder on, I still look shiny way too shiny. Not a good look after a few hours wearing the concealer.  The consistency is too thick and the brush applicator not that great. I always squeeze out too much product. The formula is dry but still make you look shiny.

This concealer provide medium coverage which is ''meh'' in my opinion. One last thing, I find that they were kind of difficult to blend out on the skin and kind of look cakey. I think it's because they dries out too quick.

I had try better drugstore concealer ( ok only one) which is ELF Concealer palette and adore it. If I ever finish these concealers, I will not repurchase them.

I think, I just not a fan of LA Girl products based on the ones I tried. I bought one Lip Glazed (rumored to be Too Faced Melted lip paint dupe) and just hated too. This is just my opinion based on my liking and skin type. I have seen quit some good reviews

Have you ever tried the LA Girl PRO Concealer. Did you liked or hated it? I want to hear more

Until next time xox

Welcome to the second part of my France Travel Diaries,

My sister, two cousins and I went to see the Louvre Museum who was so packed and big but so pretty. I was finally able to see the Mona Lisa. I kept saying that this was the big wheel of Paris but this was only a carousel. After spending some time at the museum, we went to do a little bit of shopping at Chatelet were you could find a tone of shops and bought WAY too many pairs of shoes.
You see my sister leather jacket? I wasn't kidding about the weather lol.

When the sun did go down, we went to see the Eiffel Tower because I wanted to see it during the night and the Champs Elysées.
Paris has been so wonderful with all these historical sites. Hopefully, we will go back soon.
You can watch my Paris Vlogs here.
This was the last post of my France trip. I had so much fun spending time with my family and visiting everything.

But the products availability was pretty limited. But when I got home I learn that there was a ELF store it was on the top of my wishlist for when I will be next in NYC. In my mind, I had visualize a big store and little did I know. It was pretty small like really small. We were 10 in the store and that was too much. And the product and color availability wasn't great either. But I was still excited to be there. I didn't get too much because I didn't really need anything.

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in 215 Shameless

Hello girlies,

I wanted to try a purple lipstick for the longest time now but couldn't find a color I like. When I saw the MAC Heroine lipstick was coming back I wanted to go and it because it looks like the perfect purple color for my skintone. I was going to buy it, until one of my friend told me that the Revlon Matte Balm in 215 Shameless was the exact same color. I knew about these new products but I wasn't really impressed because all the makeup has some and I have plenty in my makeup stash. However, I decide to go and buy one just to try it which was hard because it was sold out at Target and I bought the last one from Wal Mart, there was any at Pharmaprix either.

Revlon PhotoReady Coral Reef Cream Blush

Hey Beauties,

The Revlon Photo Ready cream blushers came out I think two years ago but I wasn't really into pharmacy makeup at that time so never knew they were out.  I come across them on a website a few months ago but couldn't find them anywhere. Until I went to Winners and find some. If you don't know what Winners is, it's a store chain where you can find designer clothes for 40-60% off and on makeup side, you can find rare or discontinued products.

So I was very happy to have found one during the Christmas time. So in today post I'm reviewing Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in Coral Reef.

Marcelle Purity Soothing Cleansing Water

Marcelle Eau Micellaire Demaquillante
Marcelle Essentials Purity Soothing Cleansing Water
Hello ladies,

Today i'm giving you my take on Marcelle Soothing Cleansing Water or if you prefer Eau Micellaire. This is the second micellar product I've ever tried  and I was very excited to find a replacement to my dear Bioderma.

What?

Cleansing water like this one from Marcelle contains micelles which act like oil but feels like water. It attract the makeup and the dirt.

What I like the most about this product is the fresh and clean sensation you have on your face after you've finish using it. Since a few weeks, I found that my skin was softer and neater than usual and the only new product I've been using was this soothing cleansing water. Your skin can improve from using this product. Your makeup really come off, not like the makeup remover wipes. It really felt like my skin was very deep clean. Girls who tend to sleep with their makeup, take note and you don't have to rinse it when you are done. It's very effective, did you remember when I said in my Guerlain Bronzer review that the product is very pigmented and hard to take off when I swatch it? Well this take it off super easily.

The Good

Contrary to the other makeup remover, it imprisones the makeup and doesn't sprawl it all over your face. Because there is no soap in this product, it can fit all the skin type even for the sensible ones. Because it take the impurities out the skin so well, cleaning your face afterwards is more simple. I don't have to scrub and exfoliate as much.

The product also take off all the waterproof mascara or liner. It very inexpensive for about 15$.

Marcelle Eau Micellaire Demaquillante

How to Use

It's very easy to use, just dip some product on a cotton pad and rub it all over your face. Voilà! I follow with my St Yves scrub and then my Cetaphil cleanser. Depending of what you want you can go use your moisturizer right after the cleansing water because like I said, you don't have to rinse it off.

The Bad

My only problem with this product is the packaging. It's not ideal at all because I always put too much when I try to pour some liquid out. A different cap will be way better.

One more thing, Cucumber! This cleansing water contains some and my skin is very sensitive to cucumber  and because of that I can't use it everyday or I will break out which is really disappointing because I really like this product.

I was looking at my everyday makeup bag and I want give you a little peak of what's inside. I tried to put the minimum products but it was hard. That's maybe why I have two make up bags. At the same time, this is the everyday make up I use. I love to keep my make up very natural and simple for work and school.

On a daily basis I use only four brushes: Eco Tools for powder, blush and concealer, Real Techniques for foundation and if i'm wearing some bronzer MAC but it''s not in that bag. There is no eye shadow brush because I don't wear eye shadow everyday.

You can see that I have two foundations in the bag because at the moment I love them mix together, they give you a natural and almost full coverage. The MAC Face and Body take off the dewy finish of the Clinique Even Better which is one of my all time favorite.  I haven't put it too but I use Clinique Stay matte sheer pressed powder. The photos in which it was were too bad so does for my MAC Raizin blush.

I didn't picture my primer, the POREfesionnal from Benefit and my MAC Fix + because they are too big for my bag but still use them everyday.

This is my Make Up For Ever concealer palette in the shade 5 which is very useful with all the color you want in one place. I originally bought it for the orange concealer but i'm not really using it as much anymore. What I like about is palette is that you have 5 colors at your disposition and don't have to carry a few concealer with you for your correcting and highlight.

I'm usually not a fan of drugstore mascara and I taught I will try some. I really love the Falsies but not the Mega Plush. It just don't do anything for my lashes so to use it up I mix it with the Falsies. I know I love to mix stuffs lot. If you want a good liquid liner go try the Double Precision from Marcelle. You have two side depending on what look you want to achieve. The last item is my lash curler from Revlon which I own since forever and still love a lot.

Like I said, this is the make up I wear on the regular base, if I my skin is feeling some kind of way I will wear a different kind of foundation. My everyday make up really depend of my mood.

What do you put in your everyday make up bag?

Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer Review + Swatches

I was on the search for a bronzer for my skin tone and I came across Guerlain Bronzing Powder Moisturising and Long Lasting.  It was on my wishlist for quit some time and I finally got it as a Christmas gift to myself. I feel that it's going to be one of my favorite products of 2014, the only other Guerlain product I've ever tried was their Little Black Dress perfume which smells heavenly. Usually when I want a bronzy look I always opt for my MAC Mineral SkinFinish. So I was really excited to have found a real bronzer.

The shade 08 is a red based one, which will be perfect for the summer tan but still look gorgeous during winter. The application is very easy and you can build it up. When I want a more discrete look I barely dip my contour brush in the product and it's super pigmented. I have use and swatches my bronzer a couple of times and you can't even see that. I knew this product is going to last a very long time so I kind of get my money back in the long run.

I use it in a E form: My temples, my cheeks and my jaw line. This will give the impression that you've got a tan or have been to the South. In my opinion, my face looks like I have no bone structure and this bronzer really define my cheeks and face in general which I absolutely love. And it's will look good during the day or night. Also perfect for those winter day when you need a little glow you will get this perfect sun kissed face.

One more thing I also really like, is that it didn't have a powdery feeling on your face. I didn't look ''cakey'' at all which may be because it's a moisturising product. I have oily skin as you may know by know and it didn't melt on my face at all. It did stay like I  just apply it. This bronzer is really long lasting just ask my hand when I was swatching it, taking the product off was hard. Very hard but not really on my face. Can be remove like the rest of my makeup with some Eau Micellaire or makeup remover wipes.

This bronzer can be wear with or without blush. You will still get that amazing look like you have a perfect face.

If you have only skin don't worry, it won't be shimmery on your face. I've use and swatch it a couple of time and you can't see it at all.

Like I said, the only bad thing about this product is the price but you will get your money back with all the time you are going to use it and you can't really complain: long lasting, moisturising, very pigmented.

Come in 8 shades depending of your skin  under tone and color. The Guerlain Bronzing Powder can be found at your local Guerlain counter and online.

Have you ever tried Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer? What are your favorites bronzer?
