Marcelle Clay Mask

Hello beauties,

I'm taking a little break from my 30 Days of Christmas Series to give a review of Marcelle Clay Mask aka miracle in a tube. My favorite mask are clay mask because they are not dirty and sticky. I have been using this mask since a month and a half now. For the past two weeks, I was really busy studying for my finals and doing some essays which means sleeping 4-5 hours and don't really do my full skincare routine which result in me having a very dull and tired skin. The night of my last final I use the Marcelle Clay Mask and slept with it and my face on the morning was priceless. Like the last two weeks never happened. In one night, my skin return to it softness self. I was very happy about it.

Application

Start by cleansing your face and then dry it up. Then apply the product all over your face and let it set for 10 minutes and then rinse it off. Some people advice to rinse it before it completely dried out but I prefer the opposite.  After a minute or two it will start to tangle a little bit. When it's fully dried, your face will start to stretch like you just got Botox (Which made me think I will never do that) or have a very tight ponytail.

When the product is completely wash, follow with you night moisturizer.

Pros:

- Help to reduce redness and puffyness
- Reduce shine and breakouts
- Clear the skin
- You can see a difference after just the first use
- Without Paraben, Perfume and Hypo-Allergenic. Which mean good also for sensitive skins.

Cons:

- Can be a bit dry for the skin. So I wouldn't advise to use it too often during the winter if you have super dry skin.
- At first it's very liquidy and taught it was expired. I read some review about that and people in general hated that. Which is very different to the others clay mask with a paste consistency. For my part, I don't really mind.

The mask dried out on your skin within a few minutes and the more product you put on the best it is.  Even if you sleep with the mask, it will stay intact on your face until the next morning.  If you want long time result, you have to use it constantly.

Overall, I will really suggest you to get the Marcelle Clay Mask because it can give the same result as some very expensive mask. After the first use you can already see the results. You can't get wrong with this product.

Did you ever tried Marcelle Clay Mask before? Tell me in the comment section below.
PS: This is my 100th blog post. I just can't believe it. Thank you for taking the time to read my articles xx

Foudation Series : NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer

I have been dying to try NARS Pure Radiant Pure Tinted Moisturizer since last year but every time  I kept on resisting mostly because of the price, 49$ is expensive for a tinted moisturizer I must say. But when I discovered a NARS counter at my departement store. I couldn't resist anymore and I got it.

I first tried this products for 4 weeks back in June like it was recommended on the box but never did my review and then I tried it on and off. This only confirm how much I love this product. Mostly because it makes my skin look and feel good. This Tinted Moisturizer gives a healthy glow and people are asking me what I wearing.

I tought that my brush smelled like lemon because I wash them with a citrus soap but after readings some reviews the Tinted Moisturizer really smells citrusy. I feel weird about it.

I apply it with my Real Techniques stippling brush and it makes wonder. I just put a little bit on my hand and make circular movements on my face to completely blend it out. This is a light coverage product but you can build it out to medium.   At first, the color may seems to light on you but after a few minutes it will melt into your skin matching it perfectly. (Melt is maybe not the right choice of word).

The way I use it (every day is different but recently this is the way I've been using it), is that I start by using my orange concealer in my Make Up for Ever concealer palette in N5 to correct discoloration and then I apply one coat of the Tinted Moisturizer all over my face. Then I use the rest on my cheeks to cover what is left to cover.

Even if you build it up, you still have the sensation as you have nothing and look like the same way. Perfect for work and school. Like I said before, it will give you nice dewy finish. If I want to minimize the shine I just mix it with a little drop of my Clinique Even Better foundation and don't need powder everywhere.

I have oily skin and I can still use it. For me, it last all day but I have to retouch my nose because it really oily. For exemple, I have once a week a full day of school for 9h30 to 9pm, I will do a little retouch around 4 or 5pm. It's not bad at all. Just put some pressed powder over it.

When use with my NARS Pore Refining Primer or MAC Oil Control Lotion I get a better result.
Sorry for the glitters, I was swatching my Lise Watier Ombre Soufflé Suprême
Pros
-Oil Free
-Blends very well
-Contains SPF 30
-Last for quit a long time
-Even out your skin
-Makes your skin look brighter and better in 4 weeks. It did for me.

Cons
-The price. My Clinique foundations are like haven in a tube and they are lest than 34$.
-The range of available shades, Polynesia (my color) is the darkest one.

I'm a sucker for this product and it will certainly buy a new one, when this one is finish. NARS Pure Radiant  Tinted Moisturizer is available at NARS counters, online or Sephora.

Have you tried this product yet? Tell me more in the comment section.

Annabelle + Marcelle Wharehouse Sale

Hello Darlings, how are you all doing? The week end is almost there, hold on just a bit more and you can all have some fun ;).

This past saturday I went with my friend Cristina to the Annabelle + Marcelle Wharehouse sale. We were very excited because all the makeup items where for 2.25$. A very good prices because generally each of the products are around 6-10$.

The skincare product were more expensive at around 9$. Even tought, it was a great deal because they retail for around 16$ and up.

I only been using Cleansing Water and so far so good. It really deep cleans your makeup. More than with wipes.  I still have to try the toner and clay mask so I will keep you guys up.

Like I said before all these items were for 2.25$ each except for the eyeliners sets which were 6$ each.

I have heard great things about these Annabelle mascara's and I smatch and wear some of  the liners OMG so good and easy to use.  Multiple way to use them.

I initially had a 40$ budget but bought some skincare products so my grand total  was 94$. I didn't know I was going to buy skincare but they were at good prices and needed them.

Lise Watier Ombre Soufflé Suprême*

Disclaimer: I received this in a goodie bag during De Toute Beauté event 2 weeks ago

I know the brand Lise Watier since I was a child because my mom was a fan of their Neiges fragrance which is their number one best selling products. Because of that I don't know why I always had the impression that the Lise Watier products were only for older people.

The Lise Watier products looks similar to the ones from Bobbi Brown if you want an idea, they both contains benefits ingredients.

In today's post, i'm reviewing Lise Watier Ombre Soufflé Suprême which is a  tea infused eyeshadow in the Color Sunrise Peach.  If I haven't got this product in the gift bag I would have never tought of looking for it and would have missed  a very good product.

Let's start with the color. I got it in the color Sunrise Peach which tend a lot to the rose gold side. I usually not into the eyeshadow with shimery in it. But I was surprise on how much im in love with this one. You can do so many looks. You don't have to wear it all over your eyelid. You can use it in the corner of your eyes. On my skin, the color really does show up  so if it does on mine it will for everybody. It has excellent pigmentation, you don't need too much product to get good results.

This product remind me a little of the Lancôme Eyeshadow base. But is a bit harder. This one texture is so weird  like marshmallows mousse.

Other from the color, I love the Ombre Soufflé Suprême because of the benefits. This was the first time ever I tried a eyeshadow that has anti-aging benefits. It contains antioxidant- have Tea extract, long lasting and don't need any makeup brushes. Simply use your fingertips.

Like it says on the bottle,  close it very well after use if you want to preserve it due to it volatility.

This product is beautiful in whatever color got it in to. My friend has it silver and it's still has gorgeous as the Sunrise Peach. I don't think I would use that little brush that came with it. The shadow is also easy to clean up. Simply pass a makeup wipe or cotton pad over it and it's gone. However even if the eyeshadow clean up easily doesn't mean it doesn't stay long. It does.

The Lise Watier Ombre Soufflé Suprême comes in 9 colors and retails for 24$. Available at some Departement Store, Jean Coutu  or Online

St-Yves Green Tea Scrub

Hi beauty girls, what have you been up to? For my part I have been quit a busy bee. Can't wait for the Christmas Holiday to get some rest and chill a little bit. In today post I'm reviewing St. Yves Green Tea Scrub.  I first bought this product almost 2 months ago at the opening of the Target store and I have been using it everyday since then. I even repurchase it last week.  The main reason why I bought it was because I wanted an alternative to my Apricot Scrub one because the big scrubbing grains were a bit aggresive for my skin even I don't have sensitive skin.

They describe the product as an '' Dermatologist-tested scrub that can actually help to clear and soothe your skin. An active blemish-fighting ingredient fights the flare-ups, while 100% natural exfoliants encourage healthier, clearer skin.

The main reason why I love these product so much is because they actually leave your skin clear and smoothe. They remove the dead skin on your face.

Application

You only have to get your face wet a little bit and apply the scrub all over your face and neck if you wish. After you can rinse with clear water. For better result you can use it everyday. I do 2 twice a day or alternate with my daily microdermabraison or Clinique 7 days scrub. Some people still think that this scrub is too harsh but I don't

I use it in the morning because it wake my face up. I don't look as  much tired. I said that before but I find that when I use a exfoliator before applying my I don't need a primer because my skin is smoother.

Pros
- Oil-free
- Smells good
- Without parabens / Non Comedogenic
- Made with green tea wich helps  reducing redness
- Great if you have sensitive skin because of the small grains

Cons

- It doesn't work for everyone. It a hit or a miss.
- Yes the product contains  Salicylic acid but here in Canada we have the 1% not the 2% product. It didn't do much for my acne. But like I said it depend on your skin.
- To make your skin feels clean and look clean you have to rub it over your face for a few minutes.

The St. Yves Tea Scrub retails for 4.99 and can be found at any drugstore.

De Toute Beauté Week End

The VIP Area
My friend Cristina and I went to the first day of the Toute Beauté Week End on Friday at the Palais de Congrès de Montréal (which kind of  means All Beauty Week End). The event was to mainly promote the local beauty and fashion industries. You could meet celebrities, makeup artists, professional hairdresser, fashion designers,  and even some Youtubers. They were there on Saturday and Sunday but couldn't go because of work and an exam on Sunday.  So I tought I will show you some of the picture I've taken during the day. Friday was very alm compared to Saturday and Sunday from some pictures I saw.

The one day ticket was for 12$ online or 15$ at the door / 18$ online for 3 days or 22$ at the door. So it wasn't really expensive compare to the Makeup Shows or even IMATS.

The Red Carpet

People getting their hair done with some RUSK products.
During the day you could have done plenty of things like getting facials, eyelashes extensions and your hair done.
Me!! Excuse my messy hair

My Friend Cristina

When you come in the gave you a goodie bag with some great product in it. One of the product I really like was a Lise Watier peachy gold cream shadow. People this is the real deal and it was a full size. The color is absolutely gorgeous. Maybe a review to come ;)
China Glaze nail polish

The China Glaze was the most interesting stand because of all the nail polish colors available and you don't find them easy here.

Rudsak collection
You could buy some Rudsak clothing. I haven't seen any of these in stores maybe they were pre-available there.

Lise Watier Makeup
You could get your makeup done at the counter by some professional makeup artists.
Overall, for the first ever De Toute Beauté Week End event it was interesting  but if there's is one next year having more makeup brands will be more fun and exciting.

Annabelle TwistUP

I know not another lips product review but girlfriend is waiting for the Holiday collections that should hit the shelves only in the first days of November. A friend of mine told me a few weeks ago about a big promotions going on for the Annabelle TwistUP. For 24 minutes you could get the 24 products for 24$ for their #24days promotions where you had to wear one different color everyday. Habitually the whole set is for 238$ which means 9.95$ each.  So you know why I had to get them. But the offer was so big that websites stop to work even before the 7pm. Seeing all the problem they decided to let the offer run until they run out of stock but I couldn't. A lot of people where really mad about this I was too because they shouldn't had made so much promotions if they didn't have a good websites. So to make it up to everybody who haven't get a chance to get the 24 TwistUP they have decided to run a kind of giveaway where you just had to send your email and a few random people would get a code to get them. I tought that I will never be choosen but I have and was happy about.

Annabelle is a Canadian cosmetics brand who was bought a few years ago by Marcelle. They offer a great  range of products from mascara to BB creams. This was the first time I ever tried anything from the brand.

They came in 24 differents colors but I only choose to open two mainly because I wanted to share them with my friend who wasn't able to get them and why open them all when I don't to use them all now and give some away. Don't forget makeup has a expiration date.

This not the first time I've use some retractable lipstick crayon. I tried last year I think one Chubby Stick from Clinique and I didn't reallt like it but when I was in New York during the summer I got one from ELF for 3$ and was impressed by it. Matte, pigmented and inexpensive. I couldn't ask for more. The TwistUP goes in the same range but they are more glossy which surprinsingly I don't hate. They are pigmented but you have to put a few coat one if you want to pop up more. You can also wear a lip liner under it. But you can also use them to trace your lips and them fill them with the same one.

They goes on so  easily. I like when you don't have to work something a lot to get a good result. They are not drying which is good for a lip product. Even when most of the product is gone you still have some trace on your lips.

Pros
The ingredients  list is a good point. There is no perfum or parabem. And the TwistUp also contains some natural ingredients like omega 3/ 6 and shea butter. You don't need a sharpener because they are retractable and it's a 2 in one : A lipstick and a liner.

Cons
Like I said previously, you have to put a few coats on to get a fully pigmented result which can be annoying at the end but it maybe because of my skin color so I don't really hold it against these TwistUp. For me this is the only bad point.

Sephora Collection | Color Lip Last

I was wandering around downtown on my lunch break and pay Sephora a little visit and got this lippie.

Today post i'm reviewing  Sephora Color lip last lipstick. You can get them in 28 colors. In store or online. From this collection you can get 5 mattes lipsticks and the rest are regular ones.

I got it in the color 20 Wanted Red which is deep matte color. This is a waterproof lipstick. There will be no transfer if you let it dry for a few seconds. It does have a spongey feeling which I find kind of weird but it's fine at the end. My only problem with this lipstick is the smell. It smells like bad grape candy.

But except for that, for me it's the perfect red lipstick for fall. It won't last 10 hours like the Sephora website says but which lipstick acutally does.

It looks great with and without a lip liner and is very very pigmented. I only swatche it one time. And you got this gorgeous color. If you doesn't want it matte, you can just add a little of gloss over it.

What I really like about this lipstick is that you don't need to work it. It goes on so easily and smoothly, has great coverage and you can take it off with no problem with a good makeup wipes.

Actually the color is not as bright as the pictures show it. It looks a lot like MAC Ruby Woo. As i'm writing this post I swatche them side by side on my hand and you can't even say which one is which one. They also almost have the same texture but the Ruby Woo is more dry.

If you want a cheaper alternative to the Ruby Woo go for it. The lipstick retail for 15$ CAD.

I think I should go for some news colors and go out of my comfort zone. I'm always buying reds. If you have some suggestions leave them on the comment section.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer

How are you all doing? Today post is about some lip products that came out in the UK months ago but just during the summer here in the US and Canada. I still don't really understand what they are to be honest. Not lipstick and neither gloss. A bit weird.

I hesitated during quit some time because I didn't need more lip products and I hate glossy and shiny stuff. But I was at the opening of Target and didn't really find anything so I grab these two babies. I forget to tell you that the review is about Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer but in Europe they have an other name. (Go online and find the name to finally saw that they have the same name everywhere. Silly me!)

I bought them for 7.99$ each.  I took them in two colors:  303  Apocaliptic and 400 Big Bang. I only bought two first to see If I was going to like them before buying more.

The Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer came in 8 colors.

Pros

I love the packaging because it does live out to the name of the product: Apocalips. The wand is absolutely perfect. So soft for your lips and goes on smoothly.  What you see on my wrist is only a coat (I know I say that a lot).  Very pigmented product. I kind of like the scent also. Not too strong.

Cons

Because it's kind of a glossy product it does transfer and you can't really do anything about it. They also don't stay on very long.

Have you ever tried the Apocalips Lip Lacquers before? Tell me your opinion in the comment section.
